Our Favorite Social Media “Tools”
I guess you could call this one a “Social Media Webinar”. I know I just did.
So not so much tools but tools, methods, whatever. This is one of our favorite type shows with a team-lead round table presentation and discussion of our favorite methods of engagement in social media. Each staff member chooses their favorite tool/method and has 10 minutes each to present and discuss. Imagine, most organizations of any credibility charge $99, $149, $199 or more … we do it for free. Why? Not because the information is not that valuable and the presenters that experienced (because it is and they are) we do it because we value you as our regular listeners more than the few thousand dollars we could split. And that’s really it.
Here is what you can expect:
Jason Crouch will be presenting on Blogging. As one of the most subscribed to bloggers on Active Rain and and avid blogger (with results) on other platforms Jason knows how to get the readers involved, allow them to truly experience what he writes and to develop a relationship with them as a result.
Mike Mueller will be talking about Lists. In fact he alludes to it from time to time on the show but now he is going to tell why, where and how to build lists that payoff for the small business (or big business) person looking at social media as a marketing platform.
Jeremy Blanton will be talking about video. No surprise there since Jeremy has recently been super charged by what video is and can be. He will be talking about how he uses video and how you can, too, to promote you business. Lights, camera ACTION!
Lisa Oden will be talking about Droid (as she says “of course”) and how she uses it in engaging with others, business functions and staying on top of all that will help her business and the business of those she consults with.
Ken Cook will be talking about SEO. Having been directly involved in some search engine architecture and development dating back to the pre-Google days and being a part of the Gossamer Threads project will give us the opportunity to discuss the realities of SEO and how to use real data before making the decision to do something because “it sounds like it oughta work.”
