Ken Cook

Ken started Social Media Edge back when it was called “Tuesday Morning Talk” in about May of 2008. The topic was online marketing and community building.

The name was later changed to “Twitter Tuesday” in about September of 2008. Jason Crouch joined in November of 2008 and the name was changed to Social Media Edge.

Ken is “Community Outreach Leader” for AmericaHomeKey, Inc., a Dallas, TX based home loan company where he utilizes his past experience as a mortgage banking executive and experienced network builder and marketer. He spends his “free time” writing content for several industry related sites and online publications, and trying to find a moment to play golf.

Ken is co-founder of Social Media Breakfast Atlanta and founder of Small Biz BarCamp as well as host of REtechRadio and has been involved in “social media” since the days of running a Mustang BBS (UWDO) out of his home in north Atlanta, Georgia starting in 1987. He is also proficient in PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, and MySQL to name a few (not for hire) and manages nearly 250 social media and blogging accounts for his employer and a private client who generates real estate leads online.
